Discount Codes
Once you have found the discount code that you would like to use, click on the code to reveal and open it in a pop-up window. To copy the code easily follow one of these options:
- Click on ‘COPY CODE’. Works on both desktop and mobile
- Highlight the code and hit Ctrl+C on a PC or Command-C on a Mac to copy the code
Then follow the link on the pop-up window to the brand's page where you can start shopping!
Add your desired items to your cart and continue to the checkout section. During the checkout process, you will see a special field for discount codes or a prompt from the retailer asking ‘Do you have a discount code?’.
Keep an eye out for this field, depending on the retailer, it might be a bit hard to spot. Enter the code at this stage by pasting it into the box and you will see the discount take effect on your order total.
When you are on a retailer website trying to apply one of our discount codes and it doesn’t work, these could be some of the reasons:
- You need to reach a minimum spend threshold
- The items in your basket might not be eligible for the discount. Refer to our terms and conditions
- Some codes can only be used once per customer account
When you want to find voucher codes and offers for your favourite online stores, all you have to do is go to the CupoNation New Zealand homepage and type the name of the shop in the search bar. As you type, suggestions will appear for you to click, but in the unlikely event nothing appears, you can click the magnifying glass to search and find stores similar to the one you were looking for.
On our site, you will see several codes tagged as ‘Exclusive’ or ‘Verified’. ‘Exclusive’ codes are unique to CupoNation New Zealand and you won’t find them elsewhere.
Whereas ‘Verified’ codes may not be exclusive to us, but they are from a reputable source and are tested to provide you with a discount on your online order, should your basket and spend meet the terms and conditions required.
It's simple really, the years of experience accrued by our savings team have enabled them to identify the best offer that even they will personally use. These can either be limited-time offers or rare discount codes from brands that generally do not offer many. It's also a way for us to add a bit more personal human touch to what you see on the pages.
Generally, most discount codes are only applicable once per user account. But it also depends on the terms and conditions of the particular discount code which is determined by the store.

Other Discount Types
These are discounts available exclusively to verified students. They can be offered by the store directly, or by a partner like UNiDAYS. Usually it involves a process to verify your student status and at the end of it you get a discount code.
Some stores offer a senior citizen discount after a review or verification process. Some stores also work with government initiatives such as SuperGold to provide you these discounts.
Plenty of stores offer a discount or coupon code to first users. They might use the payment method, email address, delivery address or a combination of these to determine if you’re a new customer. There are generally two ways to access this discount:
- Signing up to their newsletter will sometimes provide you with a discount code to use on your first order.
- Creating a new account and making your first order might have the discount automatically applied.
